Position: LPN
Unit : Urgent Care
Shift: 5 x 8 hrs, Days
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: Yonkers, NY, 10704

Travel Pay Rate: (above 50 miles)
Hourly: $21/hr W2 + $1,260/week (non - taxable stipend)
Gross: $2,047.50/weekly

Local Pay Rate: (within 50 miles)
Hourly: $45/hr (W2)

Job Summary:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Urgent Care provides direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, assisting with assessment, treatment, and coordination of care for patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries. Responsible for supporting providers, performing clinical procedures, and ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient history, vital signs, and perform basic assessments
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
• Perform specimen collection, EKGs, wound care, and other clinical procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to providers
• Document patient information accurately in EMR/EHR systems
• Educate patients on medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Support triage, patient flow, and urgent care operations
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and healthcare staff to deliver quality care

Required Qualifications:

• Active LPN license of NY.
• BLS required.
• Minimum 2 year of experience
