Description

Inpatient Rehab RN - Herrin, IL

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (Friday & Saturday nights)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in Herrin, IL. The unit performs many of the same functions as a medical floor, excluding Heparin drips. Stroke certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Monitor patient conditions and report changes using sound clinical judgment
Provide education, explanations, and instructions to patients and families
Maintain accurate and complete medical records

Requirements

Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred
Experience with neuro/stroke patients preferred
Stroke certification is a plus, but not required
