Job Description: RN Nurse Educator – Maternal Child Health (MCH)

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week
Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Job Summary:
At MedCadre, we are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support inpatient Maternal Child Health services including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother/Baby Unit, and Pediatrics.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
  • Strong clinical background required
  • Experience supporting education in L&D, NICU, postpartum, and pediatric settings preferred

RN01

Required Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Active New York State RN License
  • AHA BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Education strongly preferred
  • Previous Nurse Educator experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical education and staff support for Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother/Baby, and Pediatrics
  • Assist with onboarding, staff training, and competency validation
  • Support nursing education initiatives and clinical development
  • Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to maintain quality patient care standards
