Description
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Positioning: Explaining procedures, positioning patients to capture specific body parts, and using lead shielding to protect against radiation.
- Imaging Operation: Operating X-ray equipment and adjusting technical factors like voltage and current to get clear images.
- Diagnostic Quality Check: Reviewing images for clarity to ensure they are useful for physician interpretation and retaking images when necessary.
- Equipment & Safety: Following safety procedures (ALARA - As Low As Reasonably Achievable), sanitizing equipment, and performing routine maintenance.
- Record Management: Updating patient records, managing images, and documenting procedures.
Requirements
- 2 years X-Ray experience
