🕒 Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
📅 13 Week Contract | 36 Hours Guaranteed Weekly

🏥 Facility Overview
This Medical Center is a 173-bed acute care hospital recognized for excellence in patient care and nursing leadership, including Magnet® designation for nursing excellence. The facility is Joint Commission accredited and conveniently located between Louisville and Lexington, offering a strong clinical environment with a highly supportive leadership team.
🧠 Unit Overview – ICU
This is a 10-bed ICU providing high-acuity critical care in a fast-paced but well-supported environment. The unit emphasizes teamwork, communication, and clinical excellence with strong leadership presence and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Patient Ratios
- 2:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity

- Meditech Expanse EMR
🩺 Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (REQUIRED)
- Strong critical care clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Experience managing:
- CPAP / BiPAP
- Ventilated patients
- Central lines & port access
- Blood transfusions
- Ability to float within scope (PCU, 3rd floor, ED)
Preferred Skills
- Chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vacs
- Dialysis post-care assessment
- Drains & complex ICU interventions
🎓 Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
- NIH Stroke Certification (Annual) – Required
- Active KY or Compact RN License
