Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds : 25

·         Patient Ratios : Days: 5-6:1; Nights 6:1

·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 PCT, Nights: 2-3 PCT

·         Type of equipment : Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, remote telemetry

·         Documentation system: Meditech

·         Scheduling requirements: Every other Weekend (Sat, Sun), weekdays flexible

·         Floating policy: PRN, most often times float between MS units

·         Patient Experience requirements: BSSR, Hourly Rounding

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: Strong assessment skills, experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets

Advanced skills needed:

Procedures performed on unit:  IV and foley catheter placement

Certifications Required:

Dress Code: (Required uniform)
