Position: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Unit: Radiology Diagnostic
Shift: Night Shift – 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Schedule: 5x7.5-Hour Shifts | 37.5 Hours/Week
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Pay Rate:
- Local Rate: $60–$65/hr W2
Contract Details:
- 13-Week Contract
- Possible Extension
- Full-Time
- Alternating weekends required
- Weekends/Holidays required

Job Overview:
MedCadre is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer for a contract opportunity at a major acute care hospital in Elmhurst, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience and hold current ARRT certification along with an active New York State license.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Operate radiologic equipment and follow radiation safety protocols
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Follow hospital infection control and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience
- Acute care/hospital experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT Certification
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Additional Details:
- Interviews conducted in person
- EPIC experience preferred
- Training/orientation approximately 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including EPIC class
