🏥 Cardiac Telemetry / Stepdown RN – Nights | 
 

📅 Assignment Details
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

⏰ Shift Details
• 12 Hour Nights
• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

🔄 Float Expectations
• Float to all inpatient units as needed

📞 On Call / Low Census
• Travelers may be low censused and placed on call
• Callback minimum: 2 hours
• Eligible for 36 hours low census unbillable time
• Callback pay applies if brought back in

📋 Required Certifications
✔ WI RN License
✔ BLS
✔ ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
⚠️ Must pass EKG exam during first week of hire

✅ Experience Requirements
• Minimum 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience
• MUST have 1 year strong cardiac experience in:
• Cardiac SDU
• Intermediate Cardiac
• Cardiac ICU
• At least 1 completed travel assignment REQUIRED
• Recent EPIC experience required (minimum 1 year)

💉 Required Drip Experience
Candidates must have hands-on experience with:
✔ Amiodarone Drips
✔ Cardizem Drips
✔ Nitro Drips

🚨 Candidates without these drip skills cannot move forward in interview process.

• 44 Bed Intermediate Cardiac Stepdown Unit
• Fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Typical ratio: 1:4

• Post-op CABG / Valve patients
• Thoracotomy
• Vascular cases
• Arrhythmia
• CHF
• Cath recovery
• Pacers / Defibs / Ablations
• Acute Chest Pain / MI
• DKA
• COPD Exacerbation
• Respiratory Failure
• Detox & Med/Surg overflow
• Fem Pop Bypass patients
