Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Pharmacist II to work at a facility in Chesapeake, VA . These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $80 / hour
Shift Details:
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
- This is an on-site position and up to 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Pharmacist II
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- BLS/CPR
- Must have up to date certification in VA
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Pharmacist will assist the providers in opioid use disorder and should have a background in addiction medicine.
- Review and dispense medications accurately
- Verify prescriptions and medication orders
- Monitor patient medication therapy and safety
- Provide drug information to patients and healthcare staff
- Counsel patients on medication use and side effects
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Manage medication inventory and controlled substances
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare team
