Tell us about the unit(s):

·                Number of Beds -42 (may overflow to 50)

·                Number of Staff – 70

·                Type of staff:

o        Day Shift – 2 CNC, 10-18 RNs, 1 PCT per shift

o        Night Shift – 2 CNC, 10-18 RNs, 1 PCT per shift

·                Patient Ratios – level 3: 1-2 per nurse depending on acuity (may have 3 if low acuityt), level 2: 3-4 per nurse

·                Type of equipment – isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, computers, HFVOF/HFJV, iNO, bCPAP, Total body cooling

·                EMR –meditech and CPN

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·                NRP

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·                STABLE

·                Experience with central lines UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC, CPAP etc

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·                IV starts 

·                 PICC insertions (trained clinicians)

• Circumcision

Best personality Fit:

·                 Team player, self motivator

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·                RN licensure, NRP, STABLE preferred

Floating Area(s):

·                Mother baby

Dress Code:

·                Scrub Color/Attire -  royal blue scrubs
