URMC will consider 48 hours per week billed at regular time (rotational shift)

This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caringfor patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and more! Being a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in our region, we see many acute and complex patients. As a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, we work with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses’ skills, talents, and compassion for our patient population.

Requirements:
 

• Telemetry Experience Required
   
• RN License (NY License ONLY)
   
• Two (2) Years Experience
   
• BLS
   
• NIHSS certification highly preferred
