We are seeking an experienced Risk Management professional to oversee and lead the organization’s Risk Management Program at Adventist Health Glendale. This leadership role focuses on identifying and minimizing organizational risk while supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in healthcare risk management, complaint resolution, and leadership within acute care environments.

📋 Job Details

• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: August 30, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: Days (8-hour shifts)
• Hours: 40/week

🩺 Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility’s Risk Management Program
• Develop strategies to reduce risk to:
  • Patients
  • Visitors
  • Staff
  • Organizational property
• Investigate and respond to patient/visitor complaints and concerns
• Implement corrective action plans and process improvements
• Support compliance, safety, and quality initiatives
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel using independent judgment and leadership skills

🧠 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (required)
• Healthcare risk management experience strongly preferred
• Leadership/supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills

✅ Preferred Qualifications

• CPHRM Certification (preferred but not required)
• Master’s degree (preferred)
• 5+ years technical healthcare experience (preferred)
• 1+ year leadership experience (preferred)
