Description
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Cartersville, GA 30120
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8hr Day Shift – 40 hours, Monday–Friday
About Facility:
- Hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic
- Specializes in Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy
Department Information:
- Average 10–15 patients per day
- 30-minute scheduled treatment intervals with dovetailed patient scheduling
- Complex evaluations: 1 hour
- Simple evaluations and treatments: 30 minutes
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience preferred
- Previous travel experience required
- Outpatient rehab experience highly preferred
- Georgia SLP License required
- BLS required
- First-time travelers not accepted
Patient Population:
- General orthopedics
- Debility
- Stroke/CVA
- Neurological disorders
- Multi-trauma
- Fractures
Support Within Department:
- 2 Therapists
- 1 Office Coordinator
- 1 Rehab Aide onsite
Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
Orientation:
- NEO orientation
- 5 days departmental orientation
Scheduling Details:
- No on-call
- No weekend rotation
- No holiday requirement
- No floating requirement
Additional Information:
- Polos provided (Teal & Black)
- Preferred attire: slacks and clean shoes
