MRI Technologist - 12-Hour Night Shift (36 hours/week)

Facility Overview
Join a premier Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center. This teaching hospital features CMC with 874 licensed beds and LCH with 247 licensed beds, delivering high-acuity care in a dynamic environment.

Department Highlights

• High-volume MRI department scanning 40-45 patients per day.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• Patient population: Adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across all radiology exams and diagnoses.

Qualifications & Certifications

• ARRT(R) or NMTCB, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT.
• BLS required.
• State licensure not required.
• Strong clinical skills for fast-paced, high-acuity settings; excellent communication, helpfulness, and teamwork preferred.

Team & Support
Work with a diverse team led by a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager. Team experience ranges from new grads to long-tenured experts, fostering strong teamwork and high clinical standards.

Technology & Equipment

• EMR: Epic.
• Equipment: Siemens 1.5T magnets.

Scheduling & Requirements

• Shift: 12-hour nights (36 hours/week), staffed 24/7/365; fixed per 13-week contract (no weekday/weekend rotations).
• On-Call: Fair rotation shared with full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff; frequency based on team size.
• Weekends: Per contract; no rotations.
• Holidays: Expected to cover unless pre-approved off.
• Floating: None.
• RTO: Manager approval.
