Location: Frankfort Regional Medical Center
Address: 299 King’s Daughters Drive, Frankfort, KY 40601
Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds – 7 L&D; 14 MB; Level 2 NICU/ NB Nursery
· Number of Staff – 58
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 6-8 RN; 1 OBT; 1 unit clerk
o Night Shift - 5-8 RN; 1 OBT; 1 unit clerk
· Patient Ratios – L&D 2:1; MB 6-8:1; NICU 1-4:1 (all depending on acuity)
· Type of equipment - Alaris pumps, Corometrics 250 series Fetal Monitor, Monica monitor, Ranger fluid warmer
· EMR – Meditech Expanse and CPN (Centricity Perinatal)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· 3 or more years of L&D experience
· Must be able to circulate for c/s
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITAL SETTING
MUST HAVE KY LICENSE/COMPACT AT SUBMISSION
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· > 5 years L&D experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, Induction of labor (cook cath, cervidil, oxytocin), IUFD,
· IV insertion, lab draws, sterile vaginal exams, assist with epidural, foley catheter
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN
