Position: RN – Emergency Room (ER)
Facility: Northern Light Health – AR Gould Hospital
Location: Presque Isle, Maine
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/08/2026
Schedule:
• Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3x12s – 36 Hours/Week
• Every Other Weekend Required
• No Call
• Holiday coverage as needed
Travel Pay Package:
• Weekly Gross: $2,308
• Weekly Taxable: $1,062
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246
Job Details:
Northern Light Health is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department at AR Gould Hospital. This is a fast-paced Emergency Department treating patients from Neonates to Geriatrics including Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Behavioral Health, and critical emergency cases.

• 89 Licensed Bed Teaching Facility
• 11 Bed Emergency Department
• 3 Trauma ED Beds
• 1 Behavioral Seclusion Room
• 2 Negative Pressure Rooms
• Charting System: FirstNet
• Free Parking Available
• Onsite Locker Room & Gym
Required Experience:
• Minimum 2 Years of ER Experience Required
• First-Time Travelers Accepted
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Must be comfortable in high-acuity emergency settings
• Experience with trauma and critical emergency patients preferred
Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC Preferred
• NRP Preferred
Required Skills:
• EKG Interpretation
• IV Starts
• TNKase Administration Familiarity
• Nebulizer Treatments
• Initiating BiPAP
• Suture Removal
• Assisting with Casting
• Ventilator Management
• Emergency Patient Assessment
