Assignment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Travel Sonographer (Breast Imaging)

Setting: Outpatient Breast Imaging Department – Diagnostic & Breast Ultrasound

Start Date: June 22nd

Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: 8-hour day shifts

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm — no weekends, no major holidays

Weekly Estimated Travel Rate: $2,900

Local Rate: $64/hour

Patient Volume: Approximately 40–50 ultrasounds per day across the department (about 10–12 per sonographer)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Breast Ultrasound experience required
• Current ARDMS certification in Breast Imaging required
• Strong experience in diagnostic breast ultrasound required
• Outpatient imaging experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume breast imaging environment required
• Strong communication, accuracy, and patient care skills required

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality breast and diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient breast imaging center
• Ensure accurate image acquisition for radiologist interpretation in a fast-paced setting
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during breast imaging procedures
• Manage daily ultrasound workload efficiently within a high-volume department
• Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff to support accurate and timely diagnoses
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to outpatient imaging protocols and safety standards
• Support smooth workflow in a busy breast imaging department
