We’re currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time School Psychologist to support students in the Seaside, OR area for the 2026-2027 school year. Hybrid schedule available!

Position Details

  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Location: Seaside School District – Seaside, OR
  • Schedule: 20 hours per week
  • Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm or 7:30am–4:00pm
  • School Year Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027
  • Hybrid Option Available
    • Must complete testing and student observations in-person
  • Opportunity to combine with additional NWRESD openings to create a larger FTE (.9-1.0)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations for eligibility
  • Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Participate in Manifestation Determination meetings
  • Assist with crisis planning
  • Administer diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
  • Conduct intelligence and academic testing
  • Observe students in academic and social settings
  • Provide consultation services to families and school staff
  • Support IEP planning and recommendations

Team Environment

  • Collaborate with one additional School Psychologist
  • ASD evaluations completed as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside an SLP and ASD Consultant
  • Strong supportive team culture with collaboration encouraged

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Active Oregon TSPC license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of school psychologist experience preferred
  • Experience working in rural communities preferred
  • Familiarity with the PSW model for SLD identification
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
