🚨 NOW HIRING: Travel Sterile Processing Distribution (SPD) Technician 🚨
📍 Day Shift | 13-Week Assignment
🕒 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
🏥 High-Acuity Surgical Environment
We are seeking an experienced SPD Technician with a strong background in high-volume surgical instrumentation processing and Level I trauma environments.
✅ Requirements:
• 8+ years Sterile Processing experience
• 3–4 years Travel SPD experience
• Active CRCST or CSPDT certification
• Experience with:
- Decontamination
- Tray assembly
- Steam sterilization
- Surgical instrumentation inspection
- OR workflow support
- Instrument tracking/documentation
🔥 Must Have Experience With:
• Orthopedics
• Robotics
• Laparoscopic
• Neurosurgery
• ENT
• Cardiovascular (CV)
• General Surgery
• Trauma
• Plastics
• Urology
• Gynecology
⚙️ Preferred Experience:
• Borescope
• OneSource
• SPM
🏥 Additional Expectations:
• Level I Trauma and/or 50+ case day experience
• Ability to process:
- 24–32 trays per shift
- 2 decontam manifolds per hour
• Comfortable in fast-paced, STAT-driven surgical environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
📦 Responsibilities Include:
• Instrument decontamination & sterilization
• Tray assembly & inspection
• Omnicell & specialty cart restocking
• Surgical case picking
• SPD documentation & tracking
• Electrosurgical instrument testing
