Job Title: Travel RN – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) – Nights

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Travel LDRP RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a supportive and team-oriented hospital in Liberal, KS. This position is ideal for nurses with strong Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience who are comfortable caring for both mothers and newborns throughout the recovery process.

This is a true LDRP role within a combined Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum unit that also supports newborn and GYN post-op patients.

Shift Details:

• Nights | 3x12
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling available
• Every other weekend required

Unit Details:

• 10-bed LDRP unit
• 4-bed GYN/Post-op unit
• 14 Well-Baby beds
• 3-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
• Approximately 70–80 deliveries per month

Patient Population Includes:

• Labor & Delivery
• Recovery & Postpartum
• Antepartum
• Cesarean Sections
• Preterm Labor
• Hypertensive & diabetic pregnancies
• HELLP syndrome
• Well newborn care
• Newborn stabilization prior to transfer
• GYN post-op patients

Responsibilities:

• Labor support and postpartum care
• Fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Triage of OB patients
• Newborn care and recovery support
• Collaboration with OB, pediatric, and anesthesia teams
• Floating occasionally to Med Surg, ICU, or ER if needed

Requirements:

• Active KS RN License or Compact License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate required
• Minimum 2 years LDRP/L&D experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Preferred Experience:

• C-section circulating
• AWHONN Advanced
• 3–4 years experience preferred
