Outpatient Oncology/Hematology RN | Battle Creek, MI | Days
Adult outpatient Oncology/hematology
- Shift: 8D/40W
- Hours: 8-430
- Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40
- Call Requirement: No
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Float Requirement: No
- Other requirements: Oncology REQUIRED and Chemo experience preferred
BLS Required, Chemo cert preferred
About the department: Infusion area with 16 chairs and 6 bedrooms. Onsite chemotherapy/immunotherapy mixing pharmacy. Three Medical Oncologist who have a team of a RN and MA separate from the infusion area. Five nurses staffing with a charge nurse. Clinic is attached to the hospital, so we utilize the emergency services provided for the hospital. Support service include Social worker, dietician, nurse navigator, survivor nurse, specialty pharmacy liaison, pastoral care.Utilize IV pumps, hoyer lift available for non ambulatory patients. Chemotherapy infusion chairs that recline. Computer carts on wheels to travel to patient chair side.
