Position:  Clinical Lab Scientist
Facility: Providence Saint Joseph Hospital Orange
Location: 1100 W Stewart Dr Orange, CA 92868
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/02/2026
Shift: Variable Days 4x10-Hour (21:30 - 07:30) 

Weekend Req: Rotating Weekends and  holidays

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
PR: $18 Hour on W2 + $1808/Weekly
Gross Weekly: $2600

Note: We also have two additional locations available — Mission Viejo and Eureka.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing on blood, tissue, urine, and other body fluid specimens.
• Analyze and interpret test results to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results through quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Follow laboratory safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines such as CLIA, CAP, and OSHA.
• Prepare and process patient specimens for testing.
• Review abnormal test results and communicate critical findings to physicians or healthcare staff promptly.

Requirements:
 

2 Years Exp , Hard Stop

EPIC Exp Hard Stop
Blood Bank Experience Required -Hard Stop
Trauma Level I Experience Required 

Wellsky and Immucor Instrumentation experience

**Must haveExperience in a Large Hospital (300+ BEDS) - Will See 30-50 Samples a day  with High volume Type/Screen And Crossmatch**
Weekends May Exeed Every other to Accomodate unit needs
