Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift
12-Hour Shifts | 1900-0700 | 36 Hours/Week | Rome, GA

Position Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (1900-0700), 36 hours/week
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years; first-time travelers accepted
• Rotation: Every other weekend (EOW); 70% of holidays
• Floating: Yes, across all units (routine)
• On-Call/Callback: None
• Interviews: Manager will approve final

Patient Population & Units
Provide respiratory care facility-wide, including:

• ED (Level II Trauma): Chest pain/cardiac, stroke, trauma (GSW, stabbings, MVC, falls), respiratory illnesses, seizures, abdominal issues, ETOH/CIWA, IVDA, mental health.
• Med-Surg:
  • 3 Med-Surg (27 beds): General med/surg, vascular dementia, CVA history.
  • 3 North Oncology (20 beds): Immunocompromised, cancer, end-of-life/palliative.
  • 4 East Ortho/Trauma (16 beds).
  • 4 South General Surgery/Trauma (36 beds).
  • 4 Central Pulmonology (22 beds): ARF, sepsis, COPD, pneumonia, AKI (Glucommander unit).
  • 6 Central Vascular/Bariatric (19 beds).
• Critical Care/Stepdown:
  • 4 West Neuro Stepdown (23 beds).
  • 5 West Cardiac Stepdown (34 beds).
  • Observation/Decision Unit (11 beds).
  • Combined ICU (Medical/Surgical/Neuro/Cardiac, 26 beds).

Qualifications & Skills

• Licenses/Certs: RRT required; BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Key Skills: Mechanical ventilator management (Getinge Servo U, Servo Air), therapist-driven protocols; intubation experience preferred
• EMR: Epic
• Other: ABL90 POCT; driver's license/insurance not required
