• Shift: 6:45PM – 7:15AM (3x12’s) – Rotating Shifts- Self Scheduling
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Call Requirements: Yes
• Required Certifications: NRP (REQUIRED), BLS (REQUIRED), ACLS (REQUIRED) AWHONN Intermediate (preferred)
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: No
• Additional Notes: No 1st time travelers
No Pre-Approved Rime offer per contract
• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios:1:6 - Unit census is anywhere from 3 – 24 patients
• Equipment: EFM, IV
• EHR: Cerner, Pwerchart / Omnicell Med System
• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Neonates & Adults
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in L&D, LDRP and PP care. Must be able to manage a 3 couplet assignment.
Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM ( External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
Start & Maintain Peripheral IV
Administer Antihypertensives and Insulin drips
Assist with vaginal delivery
Recover C-Section
APGAR scores, Baby Nurse ( “Baby Catcher”), Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation
Newborn Assessment
Epidural Anesthesia / Pain assessment & management
Postpartum care and Procedures as well as M/B postpartum care
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Level 1 Nursery, Mother/Baby, Circulate for C-Sections
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM ( External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
