Required Qualifications

  • Active RN License
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
  • OASIS training and documentation experience required
  • Infusion therapy experience required
  • IV skills and wound care experience required
  • Skilled home care experience required
  • Private duty nursing experience alone will not be accepted
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for home visits

Required Clinical Skills

  • Blood glucose/glucometer management
  • Phlebotomy and IV management
  • Peripheral IVs, central lines, ports, PICC/Midline care
  • Chest tube/PleurX drain management
  • Wound care and dressing management
  • SQ/IM injections
  • Foley catheter care and changes

     

Scheduling & Work Environment

  • Home visits average 6–8 patients per day
  • Schedule flexibility required based on office needs
  • Potential schedules may include:
    Monday–Friday
    Thursday–Monday
    Friday–Tuesday
    Alternating weekends required
    Self-scheduling based on patient care needs
