Travel RN – ICU (Night Shift)

📍 Salt Lake City, UT

🩺 Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse – ICU
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule Options: Straight nights or 50/50 rotation
• Unit: ICU (24 beds) 

🏥 Unit Overview

• Patient Ratio:
  • 1:2 (ICU standard)
  • 1:1 for high-acuity (IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
  • 1:3 for PCU boarders
• Team Support: Unit secretary & tech support available
• Charting System: Epic
• Floating: PCU or sitter assignments within inpatient units 

🔧 Clinical Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience (1 year considered if strong)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Ventilators & airway management
  • Vasopressors & critical drips
  • Arterial lines & hemodynamic monitoring
  • Restraint use & critical care protocols 

🧪 Procedures & Skills

• Rapid Sequence Intubation
• Central line placement
• Arterial line insertion
• Bronchoscopy
• Chest tube management
• Care of high-acuity cardiac patients 

📋 Requirements

• Active RN License
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work in fast-paced ICU settings
• Team-oriented and adaptable personality 

📅 Additional Details

• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating: Required to PCU or sitter roles if needed  
• Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
