Description

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) in Auburn, NY. This is a day shift position (3x12s, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), offering a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced perioperative recovery environment.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent PACU or relevant acute care experience and hold an active New York RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience with patient monitoring during post-anesthesia recovery, pain management, airway support, and rapid response to complications is essential.

The facility utilizes All scripts/Cerner EMR systems, so familiarity with electronic charting is preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong assessment skills, the ability to work efficiently in a high-turnover setting, and excellent communication with surgical and anesthesia teams.
