Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray 

Location: San Jose, CA 

Start Date: ASAP 

Employment Type: Permanent 

Shift Availability: AM, PM, Weekend, Evenings

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting images to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in proper working condition.

Physical Demands

• Ability to push/pull 50–100 lbs using vehicle ramps and pulleys.
• Within facilities or homes, equipment weight may increase, requiring up to 50 lbs of force 16–24 times per day.

Requirements

• Current State license(s) and/or ARRT Certification.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Compliance with health and operational requirements.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions considered with proper documentation).
