Description
Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray
Location: San Jose, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Permanent
Shift Availability: AM, PM, Weekend, Evenings
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
- Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
- Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in proper working condition.
Physical Demands
- Ability to push/pull 50–100 lbs using vehicle ramps and pulleys.
- Within facilities or homes, equipment weight may increase, requiring up to 50 lbs of force 16–24 times per day.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Current State license(s) and/or ARRT Certification.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Compliance with health and operational requirements.
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions considered with proper documentation).
