Travel OR RN – Day Shift | 5x8s | First-Time Travelers Welcome!

🕒 Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Days (07:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• On-Call: 1–2 days/week + occasional weekends 

🏥 Role & Responsibilities

As an OR RN, you will:

• Provide care across multiple surgical specialties including:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics (including total joints)
  • Endo/Laparoscopic procedures
  • GYN, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
• Maintain strict sterile technique and aseptic practices
• Assist with instrumentation, case setup, and intraoperative care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team 

🛠 Skills & Experience

Required:

• Minimum 2.5+ years of OR experience
• Strong experience with scrubbing & sterile technique
• Familiarity with OR equipment and workflows 

Preferred:

• Experience with sterilization, scope reprocessing, and OR documentation
• Background in inpatient, outpatient, or community hospital settings 

📋 Requirements

• Active RN License (NM or Compact)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Charting System: Meditech experience preferred 

📍 Additional Details

• Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
• Daily Case Load: ~13 cases/day across 7 OR rooms
• Interdisciplinary Support: Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams
