Compensation & Schedule

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (91 days).
• Shift: 12-hour nights, including weekends as scheduled.
• Weekend Requirement: 3 shifts per 4-week schedule.
• Call/Standby: None.

Unit Details: Stepdown / Med-Surg

• Capacity: 20 beds.
• Ratios:
  • Stepdown: 1:3
  • Med-Surg: 1:5–6
  • Support: 2 Nurse Aides per shift; House Supervisor on site.
• Common Diagnoses: Respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, chest pain.
• Telemetry: Monitored at Ruby; RNs are responsible for reading strips.
• RT Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow.

Clinical Requirements

• Experience: Must have Stepdown experience.
• Drip Titration: Required.
  • Common Drips: Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).
• Charting: EPIC.

Facility Policies

• Radius Rule: 50 miles.
• Submission Requirements: Unexpired Driver’s License; disclosure of any licensing hits.
• Floating: None.
• Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs.
• Orientation: Unit and department-specific.
