ravel Clinical Oncology Pharmacist – Hospital Infusion Center Gold Beach, Oregon | Curry Health Network Curry Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to support the launch and ongoing operations of a new Oncology Infusion Center at Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach, Oregon. This is a highly clinical role best suited for a pharmacist with strong hospital pharmacy experience, oncology exposure, and a detail-oriented clinical mindset. The ideal candidate will be confident reviewing complex medication regimens, safely preparing chemotherapy and hazardous medications, and collaborating closely with providers and nursing staff within a small Critical Access Hospital environment. Assignment Details Start Date: Tentative August 2026 (dependent on infusion center completion) Contract Length: 26 Weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Additional Coverage: Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation shared with pharmacy team Responsibilities Verify and review oncology medication orders Prepare chemotherapy medications and compound hazardous drugs Evaluate medication dosing, interactions, and safety considerations Collaborate closely with oncology nurses, providers, and pharmacy staff Support infusion center workflows and oncology patient care initiatives Maintain pharmacy documentation within Epic EMR Function independently within a small hospital pharmacy environment Required Experience & Qualifications PharmD required Active Oregon Pharmacist License (RPh) required at time of submission Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience required Strong clinical hospital pharmacy background required Oncology pharmacy experience required Chemotherapy medication preparation experience required Hazardous drug compounding experience required Experience working independently in a smaller hospital setting strongly preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Facility Information 15-bed Critical Access Hospital Small, collaborative pharmacy team New Oncology Infusion Center Epic EMR Located on the Southern Oregon Coast in scenic Gold Beach, OR This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical pharmacist seeking a meaningful assignment while helping support the development of a growing oncology infusion program in a beautiful coastal community.
