👩⚕️ What You’ll Be Doing
As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will provide critical care throughout the childbirth process, including:
- Supporting patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Assisting and circulating C-sections independently
- Monitoring maternal and fetal status using continuous assessment and EFM
- Administering medications and implementing treatment plans
- Responding to emergent obstetric situations
- Educating and supporting mothers and families during care
- Collaborating with OB physicians, anesthesia, and surgical teams
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a confident, experienced L&D RN who thrives in high-acuity obstetric care:
- 🏥1+ year L&D experience required (C-section experience strongly preferred)
- 👶 Comfortable circulating C-sections independently
- 🧠 Strong clinical judgment in maternal and fetal assessment
- 🤝 Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-responsibility environment
- ⚡ Experience with labor management, emergencies, and postpartum care
- 💪 Calm and efficient under pressure
📌 Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
- NRP – Required
- AWHONN or C-EFM – Required
🏥 Schedule Highlights
- Night shift (3x12s)
- Requires 7 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule
- Includes on-call shifts (3 per 8 weeks)
- Floating to postpartum as needed
