<h3>Job Summary</h3><p>We are seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to support a Post-PACU Holding Area caring for fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting discharge or inpatient bed placement. The ideal candidate will have Med Surg/Telemetry experience, strong cardiac monitoring skills, and preferably post-operative patient care experience.</p><h3> </h3><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide nursing care to post-operative patients awaiting discharge or admission</li><li>Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias</li><li>Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition</li><li>Manage IV therapy and peripheral line care</li><li>Administer medications and follow heparin protocols</li><li>Utilize Rapid Response and Code Team resources when needed</li><li>Document patient care accurately in EPIC</li></ul>
