Ability to work varied shifts Schedule Requirements This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. Must be able to circulate. Must be willing to float to Mother Baby and take couplets. Must be willing to float to other units as safety companion. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients. Minimum Qualifications: Required Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)American Heart Association BLS Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider required (NRP recertification required every 2 years)Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) (Not required if a Lactation RN) (FHM recertification required every 2 years)American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education If Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC)Preferred One year labor and delivery experience

Qualifications: 
-Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion. 
-Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
-Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting. 
-Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations. 
-Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
