Description

Job Title: Travel RN – Cardiac Telemetry / Progressive Care (MCU)
Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 hours (Every other weekend, float as needed)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Patient Population

Interventional cardiac catheterization patients
Acute MI
CHF
COPD
Acute stroke
Stable arrhythmias
Patients requiring cardiac monitoring and advanced assessment

Treatments / Equipment

Peritoneal dialysis
IV antiarrhythmics
Insulin infusions
BiPap
Home ventilators

Required Skills & Experience

Cardiac Telemetry care experience
Monitoring and management of MI, CHF, COPD, and stroke patients
Experience with patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring

Required Certifications

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS

Education Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred

Licensure

Active Wisconsin RN License OR
Multi-State Compact Nursing License (NLC)
