Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Possible Extension)

Shift: 36 hours weekly(3X12)

Shift Type: Days (18:00 - 06:30)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CCU team at a community hospital setting. The RN will provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions. This role demands strong clinical judgment, prior travel experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CCU
• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status
• Administer medications, including IV drips and critical care therapies
• Operate and manage life-support equipment such as ventilators and monitoring devices
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation (Meditech preferred)
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Provide patient and family education regarding conditions and treatment plans
• Support continuity of care during shift transitions

Required Qualifications:

• Active Indiana or Compact RN license
• Active BLS AHA
• 2 years of Critical Care experience
• Active ACLS AHA
