Location: Brawley, CA 92227
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (08:00 – 17:30)
Requirements
- COVID-19 Vaccine required + Booster (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Charting System: Cerner (required)
- Prior Travel Experience required
Role Description
Provide therapy and rehabilitation support across outpatient services and acute care settings. The clinician will deliver patient-centered care, conduct assessments, and implement individualized treatment programs to improve functional outcomes.
Core Skills
- Clinical Assessment: Pain assessment, sensory response, strength testing, vital sign monitoring, skin integrity
- Therapeutic Techniques: AROM/AAROM/PROM, gait training, myofascial release, McKenzie method, spinal mobilization, taping, prosthetic training
- Adaptive/Assistive Devices: Crutches, walkers, orthotics, prosthetics, adaptive equipment, hospital beds, lifts, compression devices
- Documentation: Evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, discharge planning, short/long-term goals, time management
Patient Populations
- Pediatrics: Developmental delays, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, spina bifida, torticollis, milestone assessment, early intervention programs
- Orthopedics: Joint disease (DJD/DDD), fractures, sprains, post-op rehab (shoulder, spine, hip, knee), amputations
- Cardiopulmonary: COPD, CHF, CABG, emphysema, MI, PVD, lymphedema management, breathing techniques
- Neurology: Stroke rehab, Parkinson’s, MS, dementia/Alzheimer’s, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurodevelopmental techniques
- Other Specialties: Oncology, geriatrics, vestibular rehab, women’s health, wound care
