Description
Job Title: Travel RN – Trauma / Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 hours (Every other weekend, float as needed)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Patient Ratio: 4:1 (Night Shift)
Patient Population
- Trauma and Trauma Surgery patients
- Gunshot wounds (GSW)
- Traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
- Car accident trauma cases
- Stabbing injuries
- Complex trauma cases requiring progressive care monitoring
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience managing trauma or progressive care patients
- Strong clinical competence and patient care management skills
- Experience with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps)
- Ability to manage high-acuity trauma cases
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required
- BSN – Preferred
Licensure
- Active Wisconsin RN License OR
- Multi-State Compact RN License (NLC)
