Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekly Hours: 34.5 Hours Per Week

Unit: Labor & Delivery

Care Setting: Acute Care Hospital
 

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in White Plains, NY. The RN will provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced acute care environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Unit Details:

• Charting System: EPIC
• 6 Labor Beds
• 5 Triage/Inpatient Beds
• 2 OR Beds
• EMR Systems: EPIC, Meditech, and GE
• Scrubs provided by hospital

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during labor and delivery
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor
• Assist physicians during deliveries and emergency procedures
• Provide newborn stabilization and immediate postpartum care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in multiple charting systems
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Collaborate with charge nurses, providers, scrub techs, and support staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active RN  NY License
• BSN Required
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Experience with EPIC preferred

Schedule Requirements:

• Every 3rd weekend required for day shift equivalent coverage
