Operating Room (OR) RN - Bozeman, MT 

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days + call
Weekly hours: 40 hrs

Job Summary: 
 

The RN works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room setting. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing individualized care, supporting patient and family education, and ensuring safe and effective nursing practice throughout the surgical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify patient care needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, surgical staff, patients, and families to coordinate care
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards in the OR environment
• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and stroke care protocols

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school
• Active Montana RN License or compact license
• (AHA) BLS Certification
• (AHA) ACLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNOR Certification preferred

Additional Information: 

• Variable day shift positions with call required
• Flexibility to work all shifts is highly preferred
• Stroke education participation required per facility guidelines
