Description

Infusion Oncology RN - Scottsbluff, NE

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly hours: 40 hrs

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Oncology RN to support patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive care, and other infusion-based treatments. This role works closely with oncology providers to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care in an outpatient oncology setting.

Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy, biologic therapies, blood products, and supportive infusions
Monitor patients during infusion treatments and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
Assess patient conditions and provide ongoing evaluation throughout treatment
Collaborate with oncology physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and side effects
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of prior Infusion or Oncology nursing experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

ONS/ONCC Certification preferred
