🤱 Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

📍 Location: Wichita, Kansas
📅 Duration: 13 Weeks
⏰ Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

🏥 Unit Overview

• Unit: Delivery Room (708)
• Beds: 26
• Team Size: 100+ staff
• Patient Ratios:
  • 1:1 (high-risk labor & C-sections)
  • 1:2 (antepartum, PPROM, PTL, magnesium patients)
  • 1:3 (postpartum magnesium, outpatient cases) 

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Manage laboring patients, including high-risk pregnancies
• Assist and circulate in C-sections
• Perform and monitor:
  • Inductions  
  • AROM  
  • IUPC  
  • Fetal monitoring (EFM, Doppler)
• Administer medications including magnesium & oxytocin
• Collaborate with OB teams to ensure safe delivery outcomes 

🛠 Equipment & EMR

• Alaris & PCA pumps
• Monica Novii telemetry monitoring
• GE CPN fetal monitoring system
• EMR: Meditech + CPN 

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent L&D RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• EFM (AWHONN or EFM-C) required
• Strong experience with:
  • High-risk labor
  • C-section circulating
  • Advanced fetal monitoring 

⭐ Preferred

• High-risk LDR experience
• Fast-paced, high-volume hospital background
