š„ Role Overview
As a NICU RN, you will:
- Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature newborns
- Perform continuous assessment and monitoring of neonates
- Administer medications and advanced therapies
- Support and educate families during NICU stay
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentationĀ

š Core Responsibilities
- Neonatal assessments & care planning
- Ventilator & respiratory support monitoring (as applicable)
- Medication administration & IV therapy
- Family-centered education and emotional support
- Documentation and adherence to regulatory standards
- Delegation and coordination of careĀ

ā Requirements
- Active RN License (CO or compact)
- BLS (AHA) required
- NRP required (highly preferred for NICU)
- ASN required (BSN preferred)
- Prior NICU experience strongly preferredĀ

ā Preferred
- Level III NICU experience
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skillsĀ

- Night shift ā 12 hours
- Floating may be required based on unit needs
