Pharmacist – Outpatient/Retail Pharmacy
Location: Klamath Falls, OR 97601
Unit: Pharmacist – Outpatient Pharmacy
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 10 Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for an outpatient/retail pharmacy assignment. The pharmacist will provide medication management, patient counseling, prescription verification, and pharmacy support across multiple outpatient pharmacy locations.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
4x10-hour shifts weekly, including some Saturdays

Responsibilities:

Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions
Dispense medications accurately and safely
Counsel patients on medication usage and side effects
Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding medication therapy
Maintain pharmacy records and documentation in Epic
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
Float to additional outpatient pharmacy locations as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Pharmacist experience
Active Pharmacist license required
BLS Certification required
Epic experience preferred
Retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred

Facility Details:

Trauma Level III facility
On-campus outpatient pharmacy
Additional off-site pharmacy locations within 5 miles
Grocery store pharmacy coverage may be required
Travelers scheduled in advance across locations .
