Interventional Radiology Tech – 13 Weeks Contract
St. Louis, Missouri
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology – Interventional Radiology
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, central line placements, Y-90 treatments, nephrostomy tubes, gastrostomy tubes, embolization, and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms, set up equipment, maintain sterile field, operate fluoroscopy/C-arm, and support physicians during vascular and image-guided procedures.
- Participate in weekday/weekend call rotation, maintain equipment/inventory, and document patient care using Epic.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of IR Tech experience (2 years preferred); first-time travelers accepted with 2+ years experience.
- Experience with C-arm, contrast studies, fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, angioplasty, thrombectomy, central venous access, and sterile technique.
- Active ARRT (R) and BLS required; ARRT (VI) preferred.
