Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac MRI Technologist for a high-volume, high-complexity pediatric healthcare facility recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Children’s Hospitals in the Nation. This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist with strong congenital cardiac MRI experience to work in a nationally recognized Level I Trauma and Teaching facility.

Important Requirement

✅ Candidates MUST have at least one year of hands-on Pediatric Cardiac MRI experience, including congenital cardiac MRI (CMR), in a high-volume pediatric center.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Pediatric Cardiac MRI and congenital CMR studies
• Conduct MR Cardiac imaging with and without contrast
• Assist with stress cardiac MRI procedures
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment in a pediatric specialty environment
• Perform image post-processing and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Ensure patient safety, radiation safety, and adherence to MRI protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and pediatric care teams
• Document accurately using Epic EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac MRI experience
• Strong congenital Cardiac MRI (CMR) experience required
• ARMRIT certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Epic charting experience
• Siemens MRI equipment experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in pediatric acute care and outpatient settings
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Equipment & Imaging Experience

• Siemens MRI systems required
• Experience with:
  • MR Cardiac with/without contrast
  • Cardiac stress MRI
  • T1/T2 weighted imaging
  • Surface coils
  • Image post-processing
  • Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
