• Shift: Nights (3x12s) — 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

🏥 Unit Overview – 3 West Med/Surg

• Unit Type: Med/Surg + Telemetry + Short Stay
• Beds: 26
• Daily Census: ~24
• Charting System: Meditech

👩‍⚕️ Patient Population

• Cardiac disorders (no open heart)
• Respiratory conditions
• GI & urinary disorders
• Substance withdrawal
• Chest pain, syncope, seizures
• Endocrine & electrolyte imbalances 

🔄 Floating Requirements

• Required to float to:
  • 2 West
  • CDU (Clinical Decision Unit)
  • ARU (Acute Rehab Unit) 

🛠️ Skills & Experience

Core Skills:

• IV therapy & phlebotomy
• Central lines & PICC line management
• Cardiac monitoring & telemetry
• Oxygen therapy (HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP)
• Chest tubes & trach care
• Wound care / wound vac 

Preferred:

• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• ABG interpretation
• Telemetry experience
• Neuro (CVA, TBI, withdrawal)

• 2+ Years Med/Surg Experience
• Certifications Required:

• Weekend Requirement: Every Other
• Total Weekend Shifts: 12 per contract
• Floating: Yes
• Call: Not Required
