Position: RN Emergency Room

Location: New London, NH 03257

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension) 

Schedule: (3x12) Nights shift (7:00pm - 7:30 am)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours

• The Emergency Nurse must be able to think on your feet and prioritize quickly.
• Must have the flexibility to continually restructure, sometimes by the minute your time.
• Must be able to obtain a health history as well as complete an accurate physical assessment and plan for treatment.
• Critical thinking and sharp decision making are essential for this role.
• Good communication skills are imperative.
• Must be able to deal with unplanned situations and it is not unusual to experience angry and even combative behaviors expressed by patients or their families.
• Attributes for success as an emergency department Nurse are compassion, humor, good organizational skills, and being a team player.

ALL CERTS MUST BE PROVIDED IN PROFILE.  FACILITY WILL NOT PEND CERTIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3+ years of recent ED experience - [Required]
• Experience in a Critical Access facility - [Required]
• EPIC EMR experience – [Required] - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Travel experience - [Preferred]
• BSN [preferred]
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• Traveler perm address must be included in profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer/at interview.  Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer

 Profile Requirements: 

• New Hampshire RN License or Compact - Must be uploaded with profile [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• Active American Heart Association BLS - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• Active American Heart Association ACLS - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• Active American Heart Association PALS - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course TNCC - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
