Radiology Technologist / Imaging Tech

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with inpatient and ER experience to support a fast-paced Acute Care Hospital environment. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist with patient care, and support departmental coverage needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for inpatient and ER patients
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
• Administer contrast and assist with IV starts when required
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and PACS workflow
• Follow radiation safety and hospital protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Radiology/Imaging experience required
• Inpatient and ER experience required
• Active ARRT Certification required
• Active Florida State License required
• BLS Certification required
• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• IV Starts, PACS, and Contrast experience preferred

Schedule & Additional Information:

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call Requirement: Yes, occasionally
• Float Requirement: No
• Block scheduling not guaranteed and based on facility needs
• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility)
• RTO must be approved in official offer
