Cath Lab Technician

Job Summary:

Seeking a team-oriented Cath Lab Technician with strong Cardiac Cath experience along with Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro experience. Candidates must have experience in at least two of the four modalities, and this experience must be clearly reflected in the work history. The technologist will support cardiac and interventional procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Perform scrub duties in Cath Lab and related specialty procedures
• Support vascular, neuro, or interventional radiology procedures as needed
• Monitor patients and maintain sterile technique during procedures
• Float within scope to support department and sister facilities when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months Cath Lab experience required (2 years preferred)
• Experience in at least 2 modalities: Cath Lab, IR, Vascular, or Neuro required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RCVT and RCIS certifications preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Pending licenses not accepted

Schedule & Additional Information:

• Weekend requirements discussed with manager
• On-call required based on unit needs
• Block scheduling not available
• Floating required to Martin North, South, and Tradition facilities within 20 miles
• Locals accepted at same rate
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts / 40 hours for 8-10 hour shifts
